We are the North American Distributors for Eurofarad of Paris France. Eurofarad has been the European leader in aerospace grade capacitors since the 1960s. With just under 1000 employees and under $100 million in annual sales Eurofarad is big enough to have all the necessary technical resources, but small enough to value every customer and every application without imposing minimum production quantities for customized products. Focused on specialty professional markets like aerospace and oil exploration, the Eurofard companies are used to low quantities, special environmental requirements, (hot , cold etc) and custom packaging. In fact fully 40% of the groups output is "custom".

RELIABLE SUPPLIER. Obsolescence is a critical problem for many customers in aerospace and other low volume high tech industries. Our customers do not face Obsolescence issues: Unlike other larger manufacturers Eurofarad will not just stop manufacturing a capacitor for economic or supply chain reasons. Eurofarad will always manufacture an equivalent tested product and we plan for supply chain interruptions. For example we have strategic reserves of discontinued policarbonate film to guarantee continued supply to our customers. For customers suffering from obsolescence of competitor's parts we will either offer functional replacements from other technologies or clone the discontinued parts.

The Eurofard Group consists of several manufacturers:

• Eurofarad manufactures ceramic, plastic film, and reconstituted mica (high voltage) capacitors.
• Firadec manufactures tantalum capacitors, wet and solid. Highlights of their product line are the CTC21 surface mount low ESR solid tantalum and the CTS High temperature capable we tantalums
• SIC-SAFCO manufactures aluminum electrolytic capacitors. A highlight is the CUBISIC which features a cubic format with low height,highest capacitance per area unit,resistance to vibration up to 20g, and low ESR: from 15mOhms at 100Hz, 20°C

Very low temperature (-196°C, -269°C).- Complex functions (RC, RLC) Specific shapes on request.Gold capacitors.Polymer terminations. Very high temperature (> 200°C) Ceramic encapsulated Families, Extended ranges, low voltage high capacitance values.

Eurofarad capacitors are found in critical applications from satellite switch mode power supplies, to traveling wave tubes, to magnetic resonance imaging, to railway signaling, to aircraft electromechanical actuators for flight controls and high temperature (up to 200© C) downhole oil exploration logging while drilling.

40% of Eurofarad's production by value is custom designed to the customer's specification. We can offer low volume production of specific items in custom packages.
