Nantes, France April, 15, 2010. SIC SAFCO factory move has been completed from Colombes outside Paris to Nantes in Brittany, adjacent to the factory of tantalum manufacturing company, Firadec. New order lead times are currently 10 weeks for aluminum electrolytic caps and should shorten to 6 weeks once the backlog from the move is digested. SIC SAFCO aluminum electrolytic capacitors are use in  medical imaging equipment, high end audio amplifiers, tube and solid state, aircraft lighting, radar and sonar, and many other demanding or extreme environment applications.
